He Sleeps!

Buddy Bear has been caught in the act of taking a nap...on his own!

Man, he puts up a fight when it comes to sleep. I am hoping he will out grow this business.

Peanut

I forgot to mention Benji's stats from his check-up a couple of weeks ago. He is up to 9 lbs. 8oz ( hopefully more now!) and 22 inches long. His head grew 2 more inches around also. He is definitely built like his dad. Jeffrey would want me to say strong and wiry. He is at least getting alot of wear from his newborn size clothes. My mom got him some summer clothes in the 9 month size. We decided she should exchange them for 3-6 month sizes. My brother and I were almost that weight when we were born so this is new to her!

Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend visiting my parents. We found out that Ginger is a wonderful babysitter.

We watched alot of fishing shows together.Some of us got to try new things that make us mad!
We met lots of new friends. Here are a few... Eric, Bryce, and Megan.

One of us was doted on by Grandpa.

It was alot of fun!

Announcement

I just got around to making an announcement to put in Benji's baby book. I decided not to send any as I am trying to be a recessionista right now. Although, I still wanted to share it. My mom wrote the awesome poem. It's her specialty and she's for hire.

2 Months

Benji has changed so much in the last month. He is slowly molting out of his newborn skin ( literally and figuratively!). He goes to the doctor next week so there are no stats to share, yet. We can tell you that he wakes up when you put him down still (fun times!). He loves to be moving and when you hold him he likes to stand in your lap not sit (he's been doing this since his 2nd week home). We suspect that he has Jeffrey's inability to sit and will bypass crawling and go straight to walking by 4 months! In all seriousness we love having him around and he gives us so much joy.
