Sweet!

I am the luckiest girl in the world! This week I won tickets (2 concert and 2 backstage) to see Matchbox 20 and Alanis Morissette. Even better, I found out Mute Math was opening. Brother and I love Mute Math. Poor Jeffrey was told he couldn't go ( I was thinking that maybe he and Jon could duel it over Blockus- but I wanted to take Jon). Well on Saturday someone called me from Atlantic records to tell me there would be no meet and greet. I was sad. Then he told me I could have two front row tickets and keep the other two also. Well, they didn't inform the will call ticket office. They only had two front row tickets. Those ladies at the Seneca Niagara Casino were so awesome they accomodated me and got me 10th row tickets for my two guests! Jeffrey was in Geneva for the weekend and he couldn't make it in time (again, poor Jeffrey). The concert was awesome and Mute Math was incredible. If you get a chance to see them- GO! The lead singer, Paul Meany, also stars in Cirque De Soleil. His act is balancing and doing handstands on a keyboard!
Yeah! We got our wish to meet the band. They were so cool to come out after Alanis performed . Brother and I gave them high fives! A side note: I was the ONLY person dancing during the performance (Brother got up a couple of times). It was a small venue. There are no excuses though- get up and dance! There was one other girl who knew the words and she came up to me at the meet and greet and took the above picture for us. The entire concert was soooo sweet. I have to say that I was mostly there for Mute Math though! Another side note: We had to miss a Mute Math song to get the tickets straightened out. Oh well!

I am jealous! I love Matchbox 20, and especially Rob Thomas. I hope you gave him a hug!
