Decorator's Home Showcase

Yesterday afternoon I went to a homeshow with my Mother-In-Law and her friend, Bernadette. Not just any home show. There were 8 spectacular homes to tour with amazing furnishings, and decorating. We left with lots of ideas. I took a few pictures of our favorite house although they don't do it justice!

I liked the juxtaposition of the pumpkin with the tourquoise. The bathroom's walls had a really pretty pattern painted on it also.

Blueberries!

Jeffrey and I went blueberry picking on a warm Saturday morning. We managed to gather 10 pounds in an hour! This is the early season right now. We are looking forward to going back for more until September.

I made a pie and lots of muffins to eat and freeze. We also froze 12 cups of blueberries. I think I might make a crisp for my Dad's birthday this Saturday.

The Fourth

We had a great holiday weekend spent with my Parents and family at my Aunt and Uncle's cottage on Lake Ontario. Our activities included boating, fishing, kayaking, tubing, bocce, crouquet, testicle toss (aka ladderball or polish bowling), fireworks and last but not least eating awesome food!
